Procrastination is a kind of habit we have all faced at one point or another. From the beginning till today, we have been struggling with delaying, avoiding, and procrastinating on issues that matter to us, which act as an obstacle towards success and it prevents us from working with full capacity. There are many ways to get rid of procrastination and Pomodoro is one of the unique techniques of avoiding it, created by Francesco Cirillo.

“Your future is created by what you do today not tomorrow”.

Pomodoro is a challenge for avoiding delaying habit or going work at the last moment. For smarter work, eat that frog with Pomodoro approach and do work on time. The frog is like a hindrance or distraction for doing work on time, eat that frog means removing the hindrance.

Step of Pomodoro technique

As I am quite procrastinated and had a habit of pending things till a deadline. Trying to improve this habit of time management with the help of this technique and following are the above-mentioned step.

Experience:

Start the timer

I decided to complete the #superhero resume by adopting this technique. As I started my work during my productive time and project work moves to smooth in the first half of this technique and then took a rest of 5 mins. The second half is not as smooth as I predicted. The first two minutes become wasted in recalling the sequence of work and few distractions would occur in it. In the end, I finally completed and I must say, the lesser time is required than I predicted for that project task. My experience is quite mixed as I am satisfied that my task is completed incomparably lesser time. But this candy break is slightly awful as it completely disconnected me from my work and disturb my attention towards it.

To get the most benefit from this technique I tried to amend a few steps. What I practice in completing my assignment is, set a timer for two hours and then took a 20 mins break and repeating this cycle until I finished my assignment. This approach works for me. This modification did wonders for me and I am quite impressed as my focus increased, this leads to an increase in work turnover and a boost in quality. By now I decided to use this technique regularly as it works for me and I completed my task with more attention within two hours otherwise it would take three to four hours to complete my work.

Quite nice advice
